While the Nintendo Switch may be one of Nintendo's best-selling, and most popular consoles since the Nintendo Wii, new information reveals that it is one of the consoles with the most issues in regards to hardware; at least, according to French consumers.
This information was posted on the latest issue of "60 millions de consommateurs" magazine, which publishes lists for some of the worst companies throughout the year, and Nintendo was voted as one of the most unreliable consoles; mainly because of the infamous Joy-Con drift issue — which made French consumers award the Switch with the "
cactus of the too fragile product."
It also didn't help the fact that Nintendo repair charged costumers the steep sum of 45 euros to fix the Joy-Con drift problem — which is an issue that should've been addressed by Nintendo sooner; not after a
class action investigation was opened by a North American law firm.
Nintendo has since addressed the issue, but the damage was already done; especially since consumers around the world have been reporting this problem since 2017. The Japanese company is well-aware of the problem, but it is more than understandable that French consumers have shown their discontent.
