Nintendo hs just released a surprise Nintendo Direct Mini presentation, sharing a bunch of news about upcoming titles, and the state of projects that will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch in the near future; wrapping up with some exciting news that will likely make players happy.
You've already read the title, so let's cut to the chase: Team Ninja's Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is getting a free playable demo, but the best news is that the developers have confirmed that the demo has become available today.
Nintendo has also confirmed that those who play the demo of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will be able to save their progress, and eventually transfer it to the full version of the game if they decide to purchase it at a later date, which is always appreciated.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it isn't really a game that focuses on exploration, as it is a hack and slash through and through, so this demo will help players decide whether this is something they'd be willing to play or not once the game hits store shelves later next month.
With the announcement, Nintendo also revealed that players will be able to control all four of the Divine Beasts in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, with a new trailer that even shows us what some of these particular sections will look and play like.
