A recent article published by Business Wire has revealed a Top 10 list of the most reputable companies in North America, which includes some big names like Netflix, Hershey, and even Hasbro making the list.

What makes things intereresting is the fact that Nintendo has managed to make the Top 10, sitting comfortable in the number 9 position, as one of the companies that North American people trust the most.

To make things even more interesting, not only did Nintendo manage to squeeze into the list, but it is also the only video game company to make the Top 10, beating out the likes of Microsoft's Xbox brand and Sony's PlayStation.

This information was gathered by the Reputation Institute, which collected data and assessed reputation of more than 2,200 companies based in the United States.

Just for reference's sake, and according to the Reputation Institute list posted by Forbes,Walt Disney gets the 15th place, and The Coca Cola Company sits in the 75th place, with neither Sony or Microsoft making the Top 100 list of most reputable companies in the US, so Nintendo making the Top 10 is actually quite the interesting news.

The Top 10 list reads as follows:

1. Netflix

2. Hershey

3. Whirlpool

4. Rolex

5. McCormick & Company

6. Barnes & Noble

7. Hasbro

8. Costco Wholesale

9. Nintendo

10. The LEGO Group
