With Black Friday and the start of the holiday shopping season rapidly approaching, retailers are starting to reveal their planned discounts. In some instances, early Black Friday sales have already gone live.
This week, Nintendo announced its own plans for Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025. Not exactly known for its doorbusting deals, Nintendo's holiday offerings include a Nintendo Switch 2 bundle and discounts on select Nintendo Switch games.
The highlight this year is the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle. This includes the newly released Nintendo Switch 2 console and a copy of Mario Kart World for $449.99, $50 cheaper than the regular retail price of $499.99. As we previously noted, purchasing this bundle during the holidays technically saves you a total of $80 since purchasing the console and game separately would actually cost you $530.
This new bundle replaces the previous Nintendo Switch + Mario Kart 8 Deluxe holiday bundle that had been offered for the past seven years.
In addition to the console bundle, Nintendo's Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals also include discounts on classic Nintendo Switch games. Beginning November 23rd, you'll be able to get the physical versions of select Nintendo Switch games for $39.99 or $29.99 each. The following Switch games will be available at a discount later this month:
Nintendo Switch games for $39.99
Nintendo Switch games for $29.99
While some classic Nintendo Switch games do require you to purchase upgrade packs to experience improvements on the Nintendo Switch 2, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Odyssey, and Splatoon 3 all have free Nintendo Switch 2 updates that will unlock higher resolutions and smoother gameplay.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Nintendo is discounting its exclusive Nintendo Switch 2 games this year. However, the publisher does say that the My Nintendo Store and Nintendo eShop will have savings on select Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch games from November 20th through December 3rd, so be sure to check back.
In addition to game discounts, certain amiibo will be $10 off at select retailers, including The Legend of Zelda Series Sages amiibo figures of Tulin, Yunobo, Riju and Sidon; STREET FIGHTER 6 amiibo figures of Jamie, Kimberly and Luke; and the STREET FIGHTER 6 - amiibo Card Starter Set.
We're still waiting for major retailers like Amazon, Target, GameStop, and Best Buy to reveal their Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, but many of these deals announced by Nintendo will probably be available in-store and online. Be sure to check back as we continue coverage of this year's holiday savings!
