Nintendo has confirmed it will be running a holiday sale on its recently released Nintendo Switch 2. Announcing its Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals for 2025, the company confirmed we'll be getting a Nintendo Switch 2 bundle as well as discounts on many Nintendo-exclusive games.

The Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle is the highlight of this year's offerings. As the name suggests, it includes a Nintendo Switch 2 system plus a full game download for Mario Kart World.

It's worth noting that this isn't a bundle created specifically for the holidays. It's been available since the Switch 2 launched this year for a price of $499.99. For the holidays, it'll cost $449.99, a $50 savings from the bundle's normal cost. Although, if you want to get real technical, this bundle saves you a total of $80 if you were to buy the system ($449.99) and the game (normally $79.99) separately. This holiday pricing should be available at most major participating retailers, in-store and online.

This is the only Switch console bundle Nintendo is offering this year, marking the end of the long-running Nintendo Switch + Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle that Nintendo had been offering for the past seven years. A staple of Nintendo's Black Friday deals, this bundle was available annually during the holidays and included the Nintendo Switch plus a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 for $299.99. Towards the end of the Switch lifecycle, Nintendo would also throw in a 3-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online.

It shouldn't really come as a surprise that Nintendo is emphasizing the Switch 2 this year as its holiday bundle. The console just released this year and Nintendo clearly wants people to upgrade to newer newer system.

As a quick recap, the Nintendo Switch 2 features a 7.9-inch built-in LCD display with full HD 1080p resolution. The updated Joy-Con 2 controllers now attach magnetically to the console and can also function as a mouse when moved across a surface, such as a table or fabric. The system includes 256GB of internal storage -- eight times more than the current Switch -- and supports microSD Express cards, which offer faster data transfer speeds than previous microSD models.

Mario Kart World is the next evolution in the long-running kart racing series. Unlike earlier entries in the franchise, it uses a large open world in which the individual race courses are embedded or connected rather than each being a fully isolated track. There's also a new Free Roam mode that allows you to drive off-track and explore world areas, complete missions, and take photos. Mario Kart World also doubles the number of players, supporting up to 24 players in many of its modes.
