Last year, Nintendo's E3 conference saw the announcement of
Luigi's Mansion 3 and this year's saw the unveiling of actual gameplay. Unfortunately, neither presentation revealed a release date for the upcoming third instalment. Thankfully, though we still don't have a specific release date, now we know at least which portion of the year the highly anticipated sequel will be releasing.
Nintendo recently shared (via
Comicbook.com) an updated schedule for what they intend to release on the Nintendo Switch throughout the rest of 2019 as well as 2020. The third quarter of the year is by far the most packed; Q3 will see the Switch release of
Dead by Daylight,
Wolfenstein: Youngblood,
Link's Awakening, and much more.
It's the final quarter of 2019 in which
Luigi's Mansion 3 will seemingly release. As well as the third instalment in that haunting series; Q4 will also see the release of
Alien Isolation,
Pokemon Sword & Shield,
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt,
Just Dance 2020,
Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games, and more.
Check out the schedule for yourself below:
Wield the upgraded Poltergust G-00 to slam and blow away the ghosts’ defenses, or summon Gooigi, an all-green doppelganger that can help Luigi overcome obstacles he can’t get past alone. In ScareScraper mode, race the timer to clear various objectives on a series of floors with up to 8 players. Luigi’s Mansion 3 will suddenly appear on the Nintendo Switch this holiday 2019!
Luigi's Mansion 3 is set to release within Q4 2019.
