March 2026 is shaping up to be a blockbuster month for Nintendo Switch 2 owners, with a diverse lineup of games hitting the platform that spans beloved remasters, fresh RPG adventures, and brand-new experiences.
From iconic series like Legacy of Kain and Mega Man to fan-favorites like Pokemon Pokopia and Super Mario Bros. Wonder, players will have plenty to explore.
Below is the release calendar for new games coming to both the Nintendo Switch and its successor, the Nintendo Switch 2. Unless specifically noted, all games below will be available for both Switch consoles.
Kicking things off in March is Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered, a re-release of the classic dark fantasy action-adventure now updated for modern platforms. This remaster brings the final chapter of the beloved Legacy of Kain saga to the present with enhanced high-definition visuals, refined controls, and a modernized camera system.
If you're looking for a new twist on a classic franchise, then Pokemon Pokopia arrives just a few days later on the Nintendo Switch 2. A spin-off from the classic Pokemon franchise, Pokemon Pokopia ditches traditional battle mechanics for a cozy life-simulation experience featuring crafting, creating, and building. You'll play as a human version of Ditto, tasked with rebuilding a desolate landscape into a thriving Pokemon community.
Arriving one week later on the Switch 2 will be Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, the third entry in Capcom's story-driven Monster Hunter Stories RPG series. This turn‑based adventure shifts focus from the mainline action‑oriented Monster Hunter games to a rich narrative about Riders who bond with and raise Monsties.
Towards the end of the month, we've got new Switch 2 versions of Disney Dreamlight Valley and Super Mario Bros. Wonder. While the original Switch version of Disney Dreamlight Valley is playable on the Swithc 2, this is an enhanced version of the life-simulation adventure with smoother performance, more consistent frame rates, faster load times, and high resolution.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is an enhanced and expanded version of the beloved Super Mario Bros. Wonder platformer released in the original Switch in 2023. The Switch 2 release not only improves on the original experience with faster load times and higher resolution, but also expands upon it with new content such as Bellabel Park, a social hub in the Flower Kingdom designed for local and online multiplayer activities.
