Wild Guns is a western-meets-space shooter originally released for the Super Nintendo back in 1994 that had players fighting steam-powered super tanks and robots. As a bit of trivia,
Wild Guns was a biproduct of its time as it borrowed heavily from 80s and 90s sci fi, as well as Western movies. It drew inspiration from titles like the action arcade game
Dynamite Duke(Sega Genesis) and the
Cobra manga, which led to that space western setting.
Wild Guns Reloaded is an enhanced remaster of the game and it originally came out for the PlayStation 4 in 2016. Later the game would see a PC release in 2017 and for the Nintendo Switch in 2018. The remastered version featured enhanced graphics, remastered sountrack, 2 new playable characters(Doris and Bullet...a dog with a sentry gun) and a 4-player multiplayer mode.
Wild Guns Reloaded on the Nintendo Switch will include new bosses, new stages, special weapons and a new mode(Boss Rush: Time Attack). Due to the console's portability, the Nintendo Switch version of the game will also allow players play on-the-go and with up to 4 players locally.

SHOOTOUT AT HIGH NOON! Wild Guns is a fast-paced arcade-style shooter, mixing the Wild West with steampunk. Play as Clint, Annie, Doris, or Bullet the dog with his sentry drone. Grab some friends and play together for some four player action. Each character can jump, dive, and roll to get out of the way of the barrage of bullets enemies let fly – or shoot them down with their own gun.
Wild Guns Reloaded is available for the Nintendo Switch now.
