To the Moon tells the story of two brave doctors, Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts, traversing backwards through a dying man's memories to artificially fulfill his last, mysterious wish. As the doctors piece together the puzzled events that spanned elderly Johnny’s life time, they try to understand just why the frail old man chose his dying wish to be what it is. The heartfelt game was originally released in 2011 and still remains one of the most beautiful adventures ever told in the video game form.
Seven years after its launch, Nintendo Switch owners will have a chance to play that beautiful title. X.D. Network will release
To the Moon for Switch via the Nintendo eShop this summer, the publisher has announced. According to X.D. Network, the Switch version is a fully remade version of the game.
Considering that
To the Moon (and its sequel,
Finding Paradise) is just a fantastic experience, that is also being made into a feature-length animated film, you should definitely give it a chance. Take a look:
Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts have peculiar jobs: They give people another chance to live, all the way from the very beginning… but only in their patients’ heads. Due to the severity of the operation, the new life becomes the last thing the patients remember before drawing their last breath. Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives, but didn’t.
To the Moon is available for devices with Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android NOW; coming to Nintnedo Switch this summer.
