Following the success of the original Hyrule Warriors, many fans of the hack and slash style game were convinced that maybe the title was a one and done. However, it appears those thoughts were merely speculation with the announcement of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

During The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there wasn't much explanation of what happened during the battles that took place before Link fell into his slumber. However, the new game plans to iron out the details of the war to save Hyrule from Calamity.

To celebrate the new game and the return of four of its greatest champions, Nintendo has decided to rerelease four amiibos of Daruk, Revali, Mipha, and Urbosa. It has not been confirmed what the characters will do in the game, but hopefully, their inclusion will allow for many new opportunities for players.

The amiibos are set to launch on the same day as Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity! We would love to hear your thoughts on the new reveals in the comments below!
