Super Mario Odyssey is the gift that keeps on giving pretty much since its release. The game added
Luigi's Balloon World as the game's first free DLC, along with some new outfits for Mario to wear.
Luigi's Balloon World is a fun new mode where the objective is to either find, or hide balloons for other players to find. This mode also grants players copins when they find balloons, as well as when other people search for the balloons they've hidden. This comes in real handy given that players will need a lot of coins to purchase the huge amount of outfits that appear in the game, especially because Nintendo just keep adding more outfits as free updates.
The latest free update that was released today includes the Racing Helmet and the Racing Outfit, which makes Mario look like he's ready to race in the next
Mario Kart. The Racing Helmet will cost players 3000 in-game coins, while the Racing Outfit will be a little bit more expensive at 5000 coins.
What's interesting is that this outfit is one of the
5 unused outfits discovered a couple of weeks ago through data mining the game. This confirms that the remaining outfits will be released in the future, as well, the same way the Racing Outfit was released today. As a refresher, the other 4 remaining cosmetics are: Zombie Headwear and Zombie Outfit, Conductor Wig and Conductor Outfit, Santa Hat and Santa Outfit, and 8-Bit Mario Cap that turns Mario into the 30th Anniversary 8-Bit Modern Colour Mario amiibo.
Use amazing new abilities—like the power to capture and control objects, animals, and enemies—to collect Power Moons so you can power up the Odyssey airship and save Princess Peach from Bowser's wedding plans!
Super Mario Odyssey is available for the Nintendo Switch now.
