Nintendo is looking for the best
Labo creations and customisations of Europe with their new
Nintendo Labo Creators Contest. According to the guidelines, anyone can participate, as well as having a chance to win some amazing prices—including a very special
Labo-themed Nintendo Switch that looks like it was made out of cardboard.
For the contest, participants can submit their entries in three different categories such as Creations, Customisations, and a Kids category. The name's are pretty self-explanatory but here is how it works:
-Creations are basically any idea you can come up with for a Toy-Con creation using cardboard sheets and just letting your imagination and creativity run wild.
-Customisations has participants customising their Toy-Con designs by any means available—ranging from colouring pens, stickers, stencils and whatever you can think of.
-Kids category limits the participants age by allowing entries from participants up to the age of 12, who can submit their original Toy-Con creations, or customisations. They are even allowed to get help from a parent or guardian.
Submissions for the Nintendo Labo Creators Contest will begin on the 19th of July and closes on the 7th of September. Participants can begin working on their creations right now and a panel of judges will determine who the finalists for each European country are.
Now onto the interesting part: the prizes. Winners in each of the three categories will get the sought after Labo-themed Nintendo Switch that looks just like made out of cardboard, whereas finalists will get a Joy-Con pair customised with the same cardboard design.
Participants can to submit their designs via videos, photo uploads, or even sharing links to their social media posts, they only need to make sure to check the Nintendo Labo Website for new details that are coming on the 19th of July, until the submissions close on the 7th of September. As a very important note, all participants are required to have a Nintendo Account in order to participate in the Nintendo Labo Creators Contest.
