Nintendo's library of classic games, part of their Nintendo Entertainment System feature on their online service, keeps growing every month.

The Nintendo Entertainment System, much like the name suggests, features games from the classic NES console that most 80s kids grew up with; including renowned titles like Super Mario Bros. 3, Kirby's Adventure, Ninja Gaiden and many, many more.

As part of the Nintendo Switch Online's March update, Nintendo will be adding Kid Icarus and Startropics. Two games that have only seen but a few sequels, but are still being remembered fondly by Nintendo fans.

Kid Icarus originally released in 1986, and featured an interesting vertical approach to platforming games; as it had players always going up, climbing their way to the top in some very unforgiving dungeons.

Startropics is a slightly newer game in comparison, coming out in 1990 and featuring a more traditional approach to gameplay — with a top-down view akin to that seen in The Legend of Zelda series and some very challenging puzzles, not to mention interesting platforming sections that have made this game a timeless classic.

Both Kid Icarus and Startropics will be becoming available next week, on the 13th of March for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
