SNK 40th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION Has Just Been Announced For The Nintendo Switch

SNK are turning 40 this year and, in order to celebrate, they are announcing the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection for the Nintendo Switch. The collection will even feature games from the NES era!

SNK are widely known as the creators of the The King of Fighters series but their reach goes far from fighting games and way back. In their 40 years they've been part of the gaming industry they have delivered instant classics like Ikari Warriors(1986), Athena(1986), Guerrilla War(1989) and Metal Slug(1996) among many, many more. Now players will be able to experience some of those classics as SNK have officially announced that SNK 40th Anniversary Collection is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch.

The collection will include:  

- Alpha Mission (Home&Arcade versions)

 Athena (Home&Arcade versions)

- Crystalis (Home version)
-
 Ikari Warriors (Home&Arcade versions)
-
 Victory Road (Home&Arcade versions)
- Ikari III - The Rescue (Home&Arcade versions)
- Guerrilla War (Home&Arcade versions)
- P.O.W (Home&Arcade versions)
- Prehistoric Isle (Arcade version)
- Psycho Soldier (Arcade version)
- Street Smart (Arcade version)
- TNK III (Home&Arcade versions)
- Vanguard (Home&Arcade versions)

The official website also states that there are still more games to come so this collection already looks like it's going to deliver the goods. No official release date has been given but SNK 40th Anniversary Collection is expected to launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch this 2018.
