To the surprise and joy of many, Goichi Suda confirmed that Killer7 will be available on PC, via Steam, thanks to the work of Grasshopper Manufacture and NIS America. The 2005 title was well received, so the community is excited about the launch.
The developer, better known as Suda51, is confident that the title will be a success upon his arrival at the Valve platform. In addition, he is interested in bringing Killer7 to Nintendo Switch.
The director commented that a possible port for the hybrid console is totally in the possibilities of Grasshopper Manufacture; however, the success of the Steam game is important if this were to happen.
"As for Killer7, it’s releasing on Steam soon, and a Switch port would be greenlit based on how well it does there,” said Suda 51. On the other hand, the director said he is excited about the idea of seeing an amiibo from Travis Touchdown, talking about the release of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.
The re-launch of Killer7 at the moment is only confirmed for PC; nevertheless, the doors are not closed upon arrival to consoles of current generation. The debut of the title is planned for later this year, but there is still no exact release date.
