One of the main problems with the Nintendo Switch eShop is how difficult it was to look for games, especially games that hadn't come out recently—forcing users to scroll all the way down trying to find that game that had released a year ago on the eShop.
As it turns out, the latest update for the Nintendo Switch actually fixes some of those problems by adding a new "Featured" section that displays 30 of the most popular, and upcoming games. Aas a minor change, the Deals section has been renamed to "Great Deals", and the Best Sellers section now allows users to choose "All Games" or "Download-Only Games" which certainly makes things a lot easier, especially when looking for indie titles that don't see physical releases.
With all of these changes, the Nintendo Switch's eShop is finally getting the attention it deserved since launch but there are still a few things that could need some improving. For instance, when it comes to downloading Demos for the games, there isn't really an option to search for them by using the word Demo on the eShop's search engine, so there is really no way to tell which games have a Demo available unless you click on every single one of them and check for yourself. While that may be a search problem, a Demo section is way overdue, so hopefully Nintendo keeps taking notes and fixing these issues that seem to have rather simple solutions. That said, the new changes to the eShop are more than welcome and a first step in the right direction.
