Blaster Master is a series of action-adventure games, which saw its humble beginnings when the first title in the series released for the Nintendo Entertainment System all the way back in 1988.
Ever since, the series has seen a bunch of games being released for several consoles but, truth be told, the series was pretty much dead. In November of 2016, however, Inti Creates got hold of the rights to the
Blaster Master series and started working on
Blaster Master Zero — a remake of the original NES title — which ended up releasing for the Nintendo Switch in March of 2017.
Today, and completely out of nowhere, Inti Creates revealed
Blaster Master Zero 2 during Nintendo's Nindies showcase — making everyone aware that the game had not only been revealed, but that it was also available on the Nintendo Switch eShop
today.
With the announcement, Inti Creates also released a trailer for
Blaster Master Zero 2, revealing some of the new features that players can hope to find in this direct sequel to
Blaster Master Zero.
