During today's surprise Mini Direct, Nintendo announced that a free update will be coming to
Super Mario Odyssey next month.
Following the update, Mario's brother and best bud Luigi will stop by and introduce a new online activity that's accessible once you beat the main game.
Luigi's Balloon World introduces two competitive modes: Hide It, which gives you 30 seconds to hide a balloon; and Find It, which turns the tables and you get 30 seconds to find balloons hidden by other players around the world. By finding balloons other players have hidden and hiding yours in hard-to-find places you can move up in the rankings.
In addition, the update will also include new outfits and new filters for Snapshot Mode.
