SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE: Nintendo Unofficially Reveals The Game's Stage Builder

It seems that Nintendo can't catch a break with all the leaks for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which is apparently the reason why they decided to inadvertently leak the game themselves this time.

Nintendo did a great job keeping the roster for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate a secret prior to its reveal back in June of last year; a reveal that could've been easily ruined by someone leaking that it featured every character that's ever been part of a Super Smash Bros. game.

Ever since, however, it seems that Nintendo can't catch a break — with people leaking character reveals that ended up making the roster. Even Best Buy accidentally leaked the render for Persona 5's Joker, last week.

Recently, Nintendo has posted a brand-new TV spot for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and they'e unofficially leaked that Stage Builder is making a comeback, proving that they can also do a great job leaking their own content.

Since Stage Builder wasn't supposed to be revealed, we don't have a a specific date for the release of the upcoming update that will be adding this mode. If the rumors about a Nintendo Direct being streamed this Thursday are true, we may get an official date.

The Super Smash Bros. series introduced Stage Builder in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii, and making a comeback for the Wii U version(although completely skipping the 3DS game) — so it was pretty much a given that it would be added. We'll have to wait for Nintendo to shed more light on this new mode they accidentally leaked.
