Éric Chahi, the renowned designer that gave us Another World (known as Out of This World in the US), Heart of Darkness, and From Dust, is finally coming back from his regiment from making video games.
Chahi has founded an indie studio, called Pixel Reef, that set up shop a few years ago but is only now making itself fully known. According to the press release, Pixel Reef is aiming “to create immersive indie games with a poetic touch,” an uneasy art mastered by Chahi in 1991’s classic Another World.
This new studio is already working on their first project that is taking place “somewhere inside big data.” As revealed on Pixel Reef's website, the title might be announced in less than 2 weeks from now.
As a reminder, Chahi's latest directorial effort, From Dust, was published by Ubisoft back in 2011.
