As promised yesterday, The Game Awards producer Geoff Keighley is slowly beginning revealing his plans for this year's gaming show. Keighley has already announced that we can expect to witness the announcement of 10 new games, and it looks like TGA2018 will not only be a feast for your eyes, but also ears, as Lorne Balfe will serve serve as composer and musical for The Game Awards orchestra.
You have surely heard Balfe's music before, as he's responsible for the acclaimed Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Assassin's Creed III, Crysis 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and FIFA 2019 soundtracks. The Scottish music producer and composer doesn't limit himself only to composing for video games, as he has also found success in creating music for feature and short films, and TV series like The Crown.
This year's Game Awards will be held on December 6th, featuring the return of Metal Gear Solid director Hideo Kojima (there's even a chance a brand new Death Stranding gameplay trailer will premiere during the main show), all but confirmed FoxNext Games' Alien multiplayer shooter for next-gen consoles, and updates on the already existing titles like Rainbow Six: Siege, PUBG, and Fortnite.
