Goldeneye was a game that really changed the video game industry forever, but more in particular the first person shooter genre; a genre that, at the time, was not popular on home consoles. The game, in fact, became one of the best-selling titles of its generation.
A documentary about
Goldeneye, appropriately called
GoldenEra, is expected to release at some point this year, and is being helmed by Director Drew Roller, and written by Brok Power and Drew Roller himself.
GoldenEra will feature interviews with the development team, as well as the game's composer — who will be shedding light on the development process of what is considered one of the most influential first person shooters in video game history.
Today, a brand-new trailer for
GoldenEra has been released, giving us a pretty good idea of what to expect from this documentary, and introducing us to some of the team of developers that helped make
Goldeneye the cult classic that it is today.
