Back in August of last year, Ryū ga Gotoku Studio and Sega announced that they would be releasing remastered editions of
Yakuza 3,
Yakuza 4, and
Yakuza 5 in one convenient collection; revealing that each game would be releasing individually, and exclusively for the PlayStation 4, at different dates.
With the announcement, Sega also revealed that
Yakuza 3 was not only the first game to release, but that it had also become available on that very same day; giving fans the chance to revisit a remastered version of the PlayStation 3 title that originally launched in 2009.
With
Yakuza 3 and
Yakuza 4 already available for players to purchase from the PlayStation 4 Store, Ryū ga Gotoku Studio gets ready to release the final game in
The Yakuza Remastered Collection — as
Yakuza 5 finally becomes available tomorrow — by giving us a close-up look at the physical Day 1 Edition, so be sure to check it out down below and let us know what you think about it.
As a reminder for players, those who have already purchased
The Yakuza Remastered Collection do not have to purchase the remastered version of
Yakuza 5, as the game will be automatically unlocked tomorrow; much like the remastered version of
Yakuza 4 before it.
