Team Sonic Racing is Sega's new racing game featuring characters from the
Sonic the Hedgehog series, which brings them together for a new experience that encourages team play. The game was initially scheduled to release during this Winter for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam, but has since been delayed and it will finally release on the
21st of May in 2019.
As we slowly get closer to the release date for
Team Sonic Racing, Sega begins to share some pretty interesting videos in order to get the fans excited for their upcoming racing game. The latest video shared on the official
Sonic the Hedgehog YouTube channel is a sample of the remix for 'Market Street' from
Sonic Unleashed.
The soundtrack for
Sonic Unleashed was originally composed by Tomoya Ohtani, and the remix of Market Street is being composed by Hyper Potions(
Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice,
Sonic Mania) and veteran
Sonic series composer Jun Senoue—who has been composing for
Sonic games since
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis but most people remember him from
Sonic Adventure 2 and its brilliant "Live and Learn" main theme.
