While we still know next to nothing about Respawn Entertainment's
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the name of the mysterious video game's writer has been revealed, as Chris Avellone has unexpectedly announced on his Twitter that he just finished up work on the highly anticipated EA-published title.
Considering that he was heavily involved in the development of
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords and
Fallout: New Vegas, it's good news, as there's a chance that
SWJ:FO will feature a proper single-player campaign, maybe even with some RPG-esque choices to make. Given that Visceral's
SW game was ultimately canceled because of its strong narration (designed by
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Director Amy Hennig), it will be fascinating to see what
Star Wars Jedi actually is.
Avellone, who was recently writing scripts for the critically acclaimed
Prey reboot,
Divinity: Original Sin II, and
Dying Light 2, has also teased that "
another big bomb" will be dropped by the end of March.
The unveiling of
Fallen Order will be taking place on April 13th during this year's Star Wars Celebration.

From Respawn Entertainment comes a brand-new action adventure game which tells an original Star Wars story around a surviving Padawan set shortly after the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be releasing Holiday 2019.
