In 2019, gamers were able to have the opportunity to play the wildly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3. A game that was over a decade in the making, the wait felt so long that fans began to wonder if they would ever even get their hands on a copy.
Following its release, many players finished the game quite quickly, making the wait for the next installment feel like eons all over again. Fast forward a few months and the Re:Mind DLC releases, giving fans a new challenge. However, upon completion, the inevitable wait continues.
Thankfully, as the wait till the next game and an even longer wait for Kingdom Hearts 4, can be abated with the western release of the manga adaption of the series. The publishing company, Yen Press, has recently acquired licensing rights to release the mang under the JY imprint later this year. This furthers the tradition of a manga adaption of a mainline game being released.
With the manga coming later this year, players have another outlet to consider when wanting to get new content for the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Make sure to share your thoughts on the news in the comments below!
