In DONTNOD Entertainment's annual report, the French video game developer officially announced that they had posted strong sales growth of 47.4% and generated consolidated revenues of €14.3 million in the 2018 financial year, allowing the renowned makers of
Remember Me, Life is Strange, and
Vampyr to develop not only
LiS' second season and
Twin Mirror, but also two unannounced projects.
Considering that
Vampyr has sold more than 500,000 copies in its launch month and received generally positive reviews, there's a rather big change that DONTNOD and Focus Home Interactive are already developing a sequel to that unexpected commercial success. While it's pretty hard to say what that second mysterious project might be, the studio's track record suggests strongly that it could indeed be a completely new IP, just like
Remember Me, Life is Strange, Twin Mirror, and last year's
Vampyr.
As for 2019,
Life is Strange 2’s remaining three episodes are all expected to launch in the coming months, with
Twin Mirror releasing at some point this year as well. Be sure check it out down below:
The death of a friend. A broken heart. A hometown that’s no longer home. With no memory of the night before and an ominously bloody shirt as his only clue, it’s time for Sam to find the truth.
Twin Mirror will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019.
