Since Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics announced MARVEL's Avengers, all the way back in January of 2017, players have been anticipating its release. Officially, the long-awaited title is becoming availble this Friday for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but next-gen versions of it have also been confirmed.
Some players have already had the chance to play MARVEL's Avengers ahead of the worldwide release, since players who have pre-ordered either the Exclusive Digital Edition or the Deluxe Edition have already had the chance to try out the game for themselves, as it became available yesterday.
It isn't just fans of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes who have been anticipating the release of the game, since the developers at Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix themselves have been anticipating the release — for different reasons, though — as it means the culmination of a project they have been working on for years.
Now that the game has become available for those who have pre-ordered the special editions of MARVEL's Avengers, and the game is launching worldwide for everybody else tomorrow, the devs have released a heart felt video in which they thank fans for their unconditional support, and feedback.

MARVEL's Avengers will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on Friday the 4th of September; PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release date to be determined.
