Hong Kong retailer Game Source Entertainment has recently listed Ninja Gaiden Trilogy on its website, revealing that the aforementioned game may be currently in development for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
At the time of this writing, the listing has been removed from Game Source Entertainment, but a cache version of it has been archived, and you can clearly see that this Ninja Gaiden Trilogy is still there.
According to the information that has been revealed, Koei Tecmo is seemingly including Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, and the collection itself will retail for $39.99 USD when it officially becomes available.
Koei Tecmo has yet to make the announcement official, and reveal the release date for this new Ninja Gaiden Trilogy, although Game Source Entertainment actually reveals that the game could be releasing at some point in March of 2021.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma was initially released in 2004 and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, the latest entry in the series, launched in March of 2012, so it's been quite a while since players have had a new Ninja Gaiden title to tests their skills on, and a proper collection is the next best thing.
This is definitely some exciting news for fans of the long-running Ninja Gaiden series, especially since this collection is bringing with it 3 of some of its most challenging titles, and it will finally bring the "new" games to a Nintendo console. This could also eventually lead to a Ninja Gaiden 4, but we will not get ahead of ourselves just yet.
