Matterfall, is currently looking for 10 new developers that will help the ambitious Finnish studio develop yet unannounced, completely original, and also big-budget game.
Open positions at Housemarque include Lead Designer, Senior Graphics Programmer, 3D Character Artist, Lead Artist, Senior Game Designer, Senior Programmer, Writer, Houdini Technical Artist, Senior Animator, and Animator, suggesting that this project is still in a very early stage of development. Given the already established relationship with Sony, this game may even be a PlayStation 5 launch title.
This game is not the only project Housemarque is working on, as
Stormdivers, the studio's first battle royale title will launch some time in 2019. Housemarque began its development when battle royale was still a niche gameplay mode, but the studio's not afraid of the strong competition, as the title will offer players unique experience with its fast-paced gameplay, metagame, and classes. Daring teams and solo operators who are brave enough to dive into the eye of the recurring nano storm are trying not only to survive the competition but also the island itself, with endless threats looming around every corner. Only the strongest will make it out alive, with riches and rewards the island has to offer. Stormdivers is a 3rd person multiplayer centric shooter game, featuring chaotic battles and volatile explosions amidst a recurring nano-storm that swallows the beautiful and lush island surroundings to explore.
Stormdivers is coming to PC in the first quarter of 2019.
