During a Nintendo Direct presentation that took place in September of last year, developer Aspyr revealed that they were going to be releasing a port of the LucasArts' classic Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast by the end of the month for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch
The developer eventually revealed that the critically acclaimed Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy was also going to be ported to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, although they didn't really give us an official release date for the upcoming title.
New information revealed by the official PlayStation Blog has just revealed that Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy will become available at some point this week, but here's where things get even more interesting; they removed the game from the list, almost immediately.
The fact that it was deleted also adds fuel to a rumour that claims a Nintendo Direct presentation would stream before the end of March; since Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast was revealed during a Nintendo Direct, posting it on the PlayStation Blog would've accidentally revealed both the game's release date and the presentation's date.
It is very likely that a Nintendo Direct presentation is announced within the next few days; if that were the case, Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy could release right after the presentation is over. Again, this is only but aa rumour but it is still exciting news to know that th egame will finally become available rather sooner than later.
