Sega is the latest company to join the "nostalgic mini console" craze — after Nintendo's successful release of the NES Classic Edition Mini and the Super Nintendo Classic Edition Mini, as well as Sony's heavily criticized PlayStation Classic — with the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Mini editions.
Much like both of Nintendo's Classic Edition consoles, the nostalgic console by Sega will be including some of the best titles the Genesis/Mega Drive Mini has to offer; from iconic games like Sega's original Sonic the Hedgehog and Altered Beast, to Konami's Castlevania Bloodlines and Capcom's Mega Man: The Wily Wars.
Today, Sega has finally released the last 12 titles that will be pre-loaded into the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Mini, which actually includes two extra games that brings the total game count to 42 instead of the 40 they had initially revealed.
Now all fans have to do is wait until the 19th of September to get their hands on this console, which is already delivering with the fantastic collection of classic titles it's including.
