Sega has been sharing a lot of re-imagined versions of classic themes from past Sonic the Hedgehog, and this time it's Sonic the Hedgehog 4's turn with a new version of Splash Hill Zone.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is one of those games that fans have mixed feelings for; a game that was highly anticipated and wasn't able to deliver the new "Sonic" experience that fans had been clamouring for so long.

Regardless of what anyone has to say about Sonic the Hedgehog 4 — both Episodes I and II — everyone can agree on the fact that the music in the game is simply outstanding — which is actually a trait that every single title in the Sonic the Hedgehog series shares. 

Lately, Sega has been releasing re-imagined versions of classic themes from the Sonic the Hedgehog series — produced by Tee Lopes and Sonic the Hedgehog series veteran composer Jun Senoue — and today they have delighted us with a re-imagined version of Splash Hill Zone from the divisive Sonic the Hedgehog 4.
