Developer Nintendo Entertainment has announced that content update and development on Splatoon 2 is still going strong. The developer is not only introducing new guns to the game but will also put out a free demo for players looking to get in the game without having to buy it first. The free demo will have the game available in its latest version.
10 weapons will be coming back from the original game for the Wii U in a form of a free update. Here are the guns returning to the game: Aerospray PG, N-ZAP ’83, Grim Range Blaster, Cherry H-3 Nozzlenose, Soda Slosher, Heavy Splatling Remix, Sploosh-o-matic 7, Fresh Squiffer, Permanent Inkbrush, and Bamboozler 14 Mk III.
The free demo for Splatoon 2 will be out this March, it will be available for one week and will have the following maps: Turf War, Ranked Battle and Salmon Run. Demo players can be matched againts owners of the full game and whatever progress you make in the demo will be transferred to the full game.
The free update containing the weapons was not given a specific launch date but the demo will run from March 26 to April 1st. The Japanese Splatoon Twitter account announced more content coming soon but did not specify what it was talking about. Fans are speculating it could be a full expansion, new game modes or maps. As soon as more is revealed, we will let you know.
