Suda51 Says That He's Currently Working On An Outline For NO MORE HEROES 3

When Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes was announced, fans of the No More heroes series were ecstatic to finally see the series making its long-awaited comeback; especially since No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle was released in 2010 and the series went on a long hiatus ever since.

As more details about Travis Strikes Again came came to light, fans were slightly disappointed since this new project is more of a spin off rather than the No More Heroes 3 they had been wanting. Series creator Goichi Suda(Suda51) has already stated that Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is actually a sequel and not a spin-off, and that the latest game will be a No More Heroes game through and through.

Suda51 has also encouraged players to buy Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, since the success of this game will dictate whether No More Heroes 3 ever gets made or not.

In a recent interview, Suda revealed that he's already working on an outline for No More Heroes 3, although he also states that nothing is set it stone just yet; reminding fans that it all hinges on the success of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.

"Nothing is set in stone yet, and of course it’ll depend on the success of Travis Strikes Again but I am working on an outline for No More Heroes 3 – a proper direct sequel for the series – and it’s going to be connected to TSA in a big way. Because, in No More Heroes 3, Travis is going to go up against crazier adversaries than he ever has before it’s going to be bloodier, more intense battles between assassins it’s going to be kind of like The Avengers – Thanos levels of crazy villains".

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is a Nintendo Switch exclusive title, however, but this is also good news since Nintendo's handheld has proven to be a great console for indie developers to release their games on; and Travis Strikes Again is actually inspired by Hotline Miami—a successful game by independent studio Dennaton Games.

"Hotline Miami inspired Travis Strikes Again in a big way. I was really intrigued about [Hotline Miami] before it even came out and when I played it I was shocked — because it was just so different from the big AAA games we see out there. It did so many revolutionary things, one thing was the one hit kill – whether it’s from a gun or a knife -it just treated death in a very realistic manner and these days, we don’t even see that in movies – people can get shot or stabbed but manage to miraculously survive. But in this game you had to pretty much repeat levels over and over again and that’s something we don’t see very often these days".

Suda51 goes more into detail in the full interview he had with Fandom, so make sure to check it out and see what else he has to say about Hotline Miami and how they've been collaborating for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. In the meantime, fans should really listen to Suda and support the upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive, that way we all win and can finally get that long-awaited No More Heroes 3.

Get ready to wander into the game world and embark on a rampage of epic proportions when Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will be available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on the 18th of January.
