Sega has been really upping their game(no pun intended) lately, especially with the announcement that they would be releasing a Sega Genesis/ Mega Drive Mini in the same vein of the Nintendo and Super Nintendo Classic editions; offering players the chance to relive some of those fond memories they spent playing the nostalgic 16-Bit games the console will be including.
The Sega Genesis/ Mega Drive Mini will come with 40 pre-loaded titles that go from Sega exclusives like the original
Sonic the Hedgehog,
Altered Beast, and
Thunder Force III, to some third-party titles like
Earthworm Jim,
Contra Hard Corps, and
Castlevania Bloodlines, among others.
Today, the developed has revealed 10 new titles for their upcoming Mini console, such as Capcom's
Mega Man; The Wily Wars,
Ghouls 'n Ghosts, and
Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition, as well as other Sega-developed classics like
Beyond Oasis,
Alex Kidd in the
Enchanted Castle,
Golden Axe,
Phantasy Star IV,
Sonic Spinball,
Vectorman, and
Wonder Boy in Monster World; not to mention that
Mega Man: The Wily Wars actually includes the first three Mega Man titles originally released for the NES.
The iconic SEGA Genesis console returns in a slick, miniaturized form along with two classic 3-button control pads.Made by SEGA, Genesis Mini delivers quality as only a 1st party product can.
