We have some great news for fans of The Witcher series, as developer CD Projekt RED and The Witcher Author Andrzej Sapkowski have signed a new agreement, which allows them to continue working together in future projects.

The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is one of the best-selling titles in the series, and with the success that the series has had — in video game form — plus the success it's had as a Netflix show and, of course, as a best-selling novel, this is great news for both parties involved.

"We've always admired Mr. Andrzej Sapkowski's works — a great inspiration for the team here at CD Projekt Red. I believe today marks a new stage in our continued relationship," said CD Projekt RED President Adam Kiciński in regards to the new deal with Andrzej Sapkowski.

The Witcher III: Wild Hunt was initially released in 2015 and the latest version of the game launched for the Nintendo Switch in October of this year. With the news that Sapkowski and CD Projekt RED will continue to work together, fans should expect great things from this new agreement; everybody wins.
