Sonic Mania Plus is finally releasing today for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. The game is actually a free add-on for players who already owned Sonic Mania, but it can also be purchased in stores for people who want a physical copy of it.

As a little side project that Sega had for Sonic Mania, they have been releasing a monthly mini series titled Sonic Mania Adventures—which is a tie-in of sorts with the game. As Sega jokingly has acknowledged, the mini series is a "shameless plug" ahead of Sonic Mania Plus' release—and fans of the blue hedgehog couldn't be happier about it.

Today, now that Sonic Mania Plus has finally been released, Sega has posted the final episode in the Sonic Adventures mini series, which has Sonic, Tails, Might, and Ray, fighting against Metal Sonic and the evil Doctor Robotnik—who already have most of the Chaos Emeralds. In addition to the fifth, and final episode, Sega has also released one single video that contains all 5 episodes in the Sonic Adventures mini series.
