YAKUZA: Special Event To Celebrate The Series' 15th Anniversary Expected To Be Livestreamed Next Month

Sega and Ryū ga Gotoku have announced that a special event will be livestreamed early in December, which will celebrate the critically acclaimed Yakuza series' 15th anniversary.

Sega and Ryū ga Gotoku announced earlier today that they have prepared a special event for the Yakuza series' 15th anniversary, and that the event will be livestreamed on Tuesday the 8th of December at 8:00 PM JST via the developer's official YouTube channel.

Leading up to the special event, Sega will be hosting special events that will be livestreamed from Wednesday the 2nd of December until the Tuesday the 8th of December, in which the developers at Ryū ga Gotoku will be playing every single game in the original Yakuza series; not including the recently released Yakuza: Like a Dragon, for some reason.

According to the information revealed by the developer, these special events that will see the developers playing through the Yakuza games will be broadcasted at 8:00 PM JST each day, and fans of the series should expect special guests that even include Series Director Toshihiro Nagoshi.

The official Twitter account for Yakuza series developer Ryu ga Gotoku also reveals that special announcements will be made during the events, so fans of the series should definitely tune in and expect exciting news from the developers.
