Attention fans of the video game City Hunter! A new look at the upcoming film Angel Dust has just been released, and those who are acquainted with the iconic action series will recognize a number of important sequences from its previous installments.

The new teaser has more video, more characters, and, perhaps most exciting of all, a new song! TM NETWORK, the group that originally provided the series with its memorable closing theme, "Get Wild," has returned with a brand-new track.

You can listen to a snippet of "Whatever Comes" in the new teaser below!

Miyuki Sawashiro, who played Fujiko Mine in Lupin the Third, appears as Angie, while Kenyuu Horiuchi, who played Gren in Cowboy Bebop, plays Shin Kaibara. There are many more new characters as well.

The trailer and poster both confirm the anticipated September 8 premiere of the film.

About the City Hunter The Movie: Angel Dust film:

Angel Dust will focus on Ryo Saeba's past and the death of his partner Hideyuki Makimura. Returning cast include Akira Kamiya as Ryo Saeba, Kazue Ikura as Kaori Makimura, Yōko Asagami as Saeko Nogami, Tesshô Genda as Umibôzu, and Mami Koyama as Miki. Shinjuku Private Eyes director Kenji Kodama and scriptwriter Yasuyuki Muto return for the new film.

The new City Hunter live-action film is set in modern-day Shinjuku and has been filmed in the actual Shinjuku and Kabukicho areas with the full cooperation of Shinjuku City, the Shinjuku City Tourism Association, and the Kabukicho shopping district. It will be streamed worldwide on Netflix in 2024.
