StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void

In a interview with IGN a Blizzard rep had this to say about the current affairs of the Starcraft II storyline and what is in store for the game.

"StarCraft will live on as a universe. We hope to explore some other aspects of the universe, but the storyline that was setup in StarCraft I and continued in StarCraft II will resolve in Legacy of the Void. All of those main characters will reach a nice satisfying conclusion."

StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void

Is this the news that Starcraft fans want to hear? After Warcraft III the storyline continued on with World of Warcraft. In World of Warcraft We all know that Illidan, Arthas a.k.a the Lich King and Deathwing all met their doom in a somewhat epic fashion. On the other hand this is the game that made Mists of Pandaria, put many stupid things like a selfie camera and ruined the game altogether. It was to hard not to put my opinion of a game I once loved!

Does the story line ending mean that a World of Starcraft (pure speculation) is next? On one hand a "satisfying conclusion" would preserve the story and make some people happy. The other hand is where the potential lies. The dark Starcraft universe is something to be explored and have fierce gory battles that could expand the current storyline. A World of Starcraft would need a M rating and here is why. The storyline of Starcraft is set in a dark evil filled universe (Warcraft was like this until World of Warcraft) with races fighting for survival against the mighty Zerg. The Starcraft Universe is a place of fear, terror and no hope. World of Warcraft has lost that fear and terror, but has a bunch of hope because no one is ever threatened.

Here are some possible scenarios for World of Starcraft. Have real consequences for each of the factions. Example: The Protoss and Terran must team up to take out a Queen (A world event) that is happening on Aiur. If the succeed x happens and if they don't y happens. It would almost be like a universal tug of war. Each faction would have a certain amount of time to get something done. For the love make it harder than World of Warcraft, but possible! Battles go back and forth until a faction claims universal victory (actual end game) and the server resets (character progression carries) and the battles commence all over again. This would be awesome for re-playability and keeps worlds fresh! Expansion packs could be added on to continue the story. There is many possibilies for an expansion on the Starcraft universe. Blizzard please don't cheese it up like World of Warcraft!

Yes, I know that 99.99% my ideas are impossible, but I feel a World of Starcraft (if Blizzard goes that way) deserves way more than what World of Warcraft has become.
