Blizzard’s StarCraft homepage is no longer just a storefront for Remastered. Visit starcraft.blizzard.com and you get a broken transmission: download stutters, red glitches, failure warnings, then log text that fans have been scraping into an ARG. Transmission 01 already made the rounds. Transmission 02 is the creepy one. It talks cargo, medical records, and a research job that is going wrong in the hold.
The logs describe important cargo from an unnamed research operation. Something inside is "screeching and scratching." A medical file tags a subject as S. K███████. Letter count on the redacted last name is why StarCraft Reddit and archive projects immediately wrote Sarah Kerrigan. It fits. It is not a Blizzard caption. It is a blacked-out K and a fan fill-in. Other partial names already seen in the earlier glitch text include F. C, T. W, and S. V.
Fan trackers such as JarlMarx’s transmission archive have stacked 13 entries for Transmission 02. The presentation matches the first drop: the site plays damaged, the community copies the raw text before it flickers off. Icy Veins and others pointed at those dumps rather than an official story blog. Blizzard has not posted "this is Kerrigan" on the StarCraft account.
The date stamped through the fiction is 2575. That sits decades past StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void. Earlier site scraps also named Roxara, a moon that already exists in the novels and in leftover StarCraft: Ghost timeline notes, plus Dominion Theta Squadron, a Banshee manifest, and a sensor grid that reads zero occupants and detects 14.
BlizzCon 2026 opens September 12. The site started glitching about a week out as seen above. That timing is why people are treating a medical initial as a panel leak. It may just be flavor for a cinematic. It may be the cold open for a new game. The page itself does not say which, but we are eagerly waiting to see what Blizzard cooks.
Earlier we reported that Nexon has been circling a StarCraft license, including talk of a sequel or a shooter, after earlier stories that Blizzard was building an open-world shooter with former Far Cry producer Dan Hay on the list. Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier said in 2024 that a StarCraft shooter was in motion at Blizzard. None of that is confirmed on the official site next to the glitches.
Kerrigan is the reason the redacted line travels. She is a huge part of the video games and it's lore. Ghost, Queen of Blades, Heart of the Swarm lead. If 2575 is canon time, she is either long dead, something worse, or a file they should not still have. The ARG does not pick. Heart of the Swarm had its own pre-launch ARG. Fans remember that and are mapping this one the same way.
Reload the official site if you want the glitch live. Read the fan archives if the page has moved on to the next fragment. Do not treat S. K███████ as a cast list until someone at Blizzard says the name.
