A new CG cinematic trailer - which is currently playing in theaters - for The Last Guardian has been released by Sony, and it's fair to say that if you weren't excited before, you will be after watching this!
You can check that out below ahead of the game's release on December 6th, but Sony has also shared a new interview with Fumito Ueda, the game's creative director. Asked about creating Trico - the creature many have identified as a griffin - he said, "Trico is a hybrid of sorts, a mixture of a cat, a dog, a bird, and the like. When I was younger, I grew up in a home that had a bunch of animals. My experiences with them are great memories that I still have. In creating Trico, I didn’t really have to do any specific research because it’s a creature that obviously doesn’t exist. But it’s really all based on my childhood memories, the way I interacted with the animals, the way they reacted to me."
