IKARUGA May Be Coming To The PS4 As Game Was Recently Classified By German Games Rating System 'USK'

Ikaruga is  a vertically-scrolling shoot 'em up game released in Japanese Arcades in 2001 by Sega and game developer Treasure and spiritual successor to Radiant Silvergun. It wouldn't be until 2003 that the game would see a console release in the West for the Nintendo GameCube. The game has since seen an Xbox 360 and PC release, skipping the PlayStation in its entirety...until now.

Gematsu reports that the USK, which is the German abbreviation for the Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body, rated Ikaruga on their site and for the PlayStation 4.

No release date was given and we still need an official announcement but Ikaruga coming to the PlayStation 4 is definitely great news for fans of the genre that has seen a decline in recent years.
