Target's official Black Friday week starts on Sunday, November 23rd, but some early deals are currently live. Right now on the Target website and in store, you can save on select PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles and games.
Right now, you can save $100 on all PS5 consoles and select bundles. This is in line with Sony's publisher sale, which offers the PS5 Digital Edition for $399.99, the PS5 Console (Slim) for $449.99, and the PlayStation 5 Pro Console for $649.99. There's also the PS5 Ghost of Yotei Limited Edition Bundle for $499.99 and the PS5 NBA 2K26 Disc Bundle for $449.99. What's interesting is that the sale of these bundles supposedly ends today, although the Sony sale runs through the end of the month. These same discounts may be included in Target's actual Black Friday sale this week, and this is a ploy to encourage early purchases.
In addition to consoles, we're seeing discounts on PS5 controllers, including the DualSense Wireless Controller and DualSense Edge Wireless Controller. These savings range from $20 to $30 off and, again, are in line with Sony's announced sale, which suggests it will continue to be offered even after today's preview ending.
We're not seeing any Xbox Series X or S consoles on sale, which makes sense since even Microsoft is selling them for full price.
However, we are seeing some blockbuster games for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch available at a discount. Star Wars Outlaws, Borderlands 4, Death Stranding 2, NBA 2K26, Madden NFL 26, EA Sports FC 26, and EA Sports College Football 26 are some of this year's biggest games available on sale. We've noted the games whose sale ends today, according to Target, although I do expect we'll see them priced like this through Black Friday week. If not, I'd check Amazon, GameStop, or Walmart.

Again, looking at this list and the abovementioned console sales, it looks like Target has specifically the Sony discounts ending today. But again, these offers are being offered by Sony through at least the rest of November, so I'm not sure why Target is ending it early.
The Target ad does confirm the reduced pricing for select Nintendo Switch games. Super Mario Odyssey, Princess Peach Showtime, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD are shown with $29.99 pricing; however, it's worth noting that Nintendo listed these for $39.99. Nintendo's game sale begins on November 23rd, the same as Target's Black Friday sale, so we'll get better clarification on these prices then.
We're likely to see continued sales throughout Black Friday and the holiday season, so be sure to check back as we continue to highlight the best deals and discounts for November and December. We'll be sure to post Target's full Black Friday 2025 sale when it goes live tomorrow, highlighting the best prices and biggest discounts.
