Uncharted 3 beta easily hits 1 million user milestone one week before the multiplayer beta is set to end

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception doesn't hit retailers until November, but it's already proving to be very popular. The game's California developer, Naughty Dog, revealed last week that the game's multiplayer beta has attracted more than 1 million gamers since going public last Monday (7/4).

Technically, the beta for Uncharted 3 began on June 28, but was initially only available only to PlayStation Plus subscribers and those who had purchased Infamous 2.

According to Sony, the beta passed the million mark Tuesday (7/5), one day after the trial was opened up to the public.

Details on the remaining beta events are as follows:

7/10-7/14

Gametypes - Team Deathmatch, Plunder, Three Team Deathmatch, Hardcore, Co-op Adventure, Co-op Arena

Maps - The Airstrip, Yemen

Here are the rewards you can earn just for playing the Beta. When Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception launches on 11-1-11 and you get your copy, you'll have the following loot from day one to enhance your online experience.

Goal 1: Download the Beta
Reward 1: Receive the exclusive "U3 PSN Beta Tester Avatar"

Goal 2: Complete 10 matches in every mod of competitive multiplayer
Reward 2: Receive the "Exlusive Beta Decal Pack 1"

Goal 3: Complete 5 matches in every mode of co-op multiplayer
Reward 3: Receive the "Exclusive Beta Decal Pack 2"

Goal 4: Complete 4 treasure sets
Reward 4: Receive the "Treasure Hunter's Starter Pack" (five rare treasures for you on day one)

Goal 5: Rank up to level 25 in the beta
Reward 5: Receive a handsome reward of in-game starting cash on day one
