God of War is like that gift that keeps on giving, especially now that the highly anticipated photo mode that Santa Monica Studio promised would release is now available.

The wait is now over and players will be able to start taking in-game pictures in Photo Mode, which promises to have players experiencing the game through the camera lens. ALl they need to do is start up the game when connected online and the game will immediately ask players to update God of War to Patch 1.20.

With the new Photo Mode players will be able to take amazing in-game pictures in very creative ways to fully show off the beautiful in-game graphics God of War has to offer. To access Photo Mode, all players have to do is either go to the Options Menu or enable the Touch Pad Quick Access.

To control the camera you use the Left and Right Thumb sticks, and you can pan up or down by pressing R2 and L2, respectively. Reset the camera by pressing Square. Now that you've got the basics, let's get into the different customisation options that Photo Mode has to offer.

In the Photo Mode menu you will find five tabs, each housing a different customisation option. These options are:

-Camera, which allows you to adjust the Field of View, Focal Length, and Camera Roll.
-Aperture that adjusts Depth of Field, focus distance, and F-stop.
-Filters that allow players to adjust Film Grain, Exposure, Filters(obviously), and the intensity of the Filters
-Borders that allows to add Vignettes and adjust their intensity, and Vignette Falloff. Including a variety of border styles and the official God of War Logo.
-Characters, where you can toggle the visibility of Kratos, Atreus, and whatever character is also featured in that scene, as well as adding the ability to change Kratos and Atreus' facial expressions.

Santa Monica Studio have also released God of War stickers for your mobile devices, which include expressions like the facepalm, victory pose and showing some love. These stickers are available for free on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and other iOS devices. Android versions of the stickers will be coming out later and will be available on the PS Messages App.

His vengeance against the Gods of Olympus years behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the realm of Norse Gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive…And teach his son to do the same. This startling reimagining of God of War deconstructs the core elements that defined the series—satisfying combat; breathtaking scale; and a powerful narrative—and fuses them anew.

God of War is available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
