We haven't heard any new information about the highly anticipated sequel to
The Last of Us for a long time. Thankfully, it has been announced that
The Last of Us Part II will feature in PlayStation's forthcoming State of Play presentation and we'll be finding out some new details about the upcoming game.
Yesterday, we got a brand new teaser for the presentation which featured Ellie's switchblade knife. Today, we've got a brand new teaser that comes courtesy of the game's creative director. Neil Druckmann took to Twitter (
@Neil_Druckmann) with a looping clip of a hammer with fiery embers floating around it.
If you've been following the promotional material for
The Last of Us Part II, you'll recognise this hammer as the signature weapon of Laura Bailey's character. In the second teaser trailer for the game (which can be found at the bottom of this article), we can see that she's a muscular woman who saves some survivors from a religious cult named the Seraphites. We're yet to find out her name.
