While the Naughty Dog sequel still maintains its title as one of the most highly anticipated games in recent memory, it's been quite some time since any new footage from The Last of Us Part II has been shown to the public.
However, even though the title has skipped events like Gamescom 2019, the forthcoming PlayStation exclusive was showcased at this year's the GameStop managers conference. Unfortunately, only those in attendance were able to enjoy the gameplay, but thanks to Twitter user Gaming Forte, we have a few details on what was shown to the audience.
According to the user, the footage was focused on stealth and highlighted the ability to "use clickers to your advantage." Likewise, it was reportedly suggested during the presentation that the new demo will be officially released "soon."
Although "soon" may not be an exact date, speculation is already mounting that a demo will be unveiled during Paris Games Week in October or on Outbreak Day, September 26.
