The Last of Us Part II was finally released a bit over a week ago, and players have finally had the chance to give Naughty Dog's latest game a try. While the reception my be mixed, unlike the original The Last of Us, the game has been giving players a lot to talk about.
From the get-go, Creative Director Neil Druckmann said that The Last of Us Part II would be a divisive game, and that fans would either love it or hate it. What he didn't say, although we all assumed, was that the game would still be great in terms of gameplay and graphics.
The developers at Naughty Dog have really made The Last of Us Part II a beautiful-looking game, and even players who don't agree with the decisions made by Druckmann can agree this title is, from a technical standpoint, groundbreaking.
Art direction in The Last of Us Part II is simply outstanding — which is actually one of Naughty Dog's main staples. so players knew that they wouldn't get any less from the developer that gave them the phenomenal Uncharted series, and the first The Last of Us game.
Today, Naughty Dog and ArtStation Magazine have released a tonne of concept art from the recently released The Last of Us Part II, giving us a look at some of the hard work that went into creating the game's characters, interiors, environments, and even animations that brought life to the game.
We are only sharing a handful of these down below, so be sure to check out ArtStation Magazine's official website by clicking right here. It is worth mentioning that the site may take a while to load, and even then some images may not fully load; opening those that don't load in another tab will do the trick, though.
